Bewi Super (1965)This is the precursor to the Bewi Super L, and they're pretty much the same unit. In fact, about the only difference I can find (other than the case color) is that the Super L has a battery check button.

Like the Super L and its little brother, the Quick, are nice little meters. They're match-needle, the calculator dial is pretty easy to read and figure out, and you've got a built-in 3-D incident dome on a plate; you can flick it out of the way with your fingernail for reflected readings. The incident plate and the protective cover are both on a hinge and permanently mounted onto the case so that you won't lose them. That's a rare feature on meters.

I'm not sure which battery it takes. All of these CdS meters use 1.35V mercury batteries that you can't anymore, but there are ways around this. Mostly it's a matter of finding a battery that'll fit in the chamber, like a PX625.
