A gift from one of my aunts, who retired it.

I don't know much about this camera; I've always been leery of non-camera makers who made digital cameras. Even though the electronics would be natural enough for a computer-maker, I thought the optics and other technology would be better handled by an actual camera company.

According to this site, the HP 315 came in two variants, the model here is the C8452A; there's also a model C8455A, designated the HP 315xi. The only difference appears to be that the xi model had additional editing software.

This camera is no longer in my collection.
