This is actually a rebranded Canon EXee, and I suggest you look at that camera for more information. I bought this one largely because I have this ridiculous notion of having at least one SLR from as many different makes as possible, even if they're just re-badged imports from other makers. It was also cheap.

Bell & Howell concentrated on movie cameras, but for a period from the mid-60s to the mid-70s, they distributed Canon cameras in the USA. Some just had the Canon name, some were co-branded, and a few just got the Bell & Howell name, such as this guy. The QL badge under the self-timer lever (bottom left on the photo) is a tell-tale that this is a Canon.
