The L-Shaped Room

1962

No Soundtrack Release

The Movie

Another of the many movies I've never seen. Leslie Caron stars as a pregnant woman who meets a cast of characters in a boarding house. Most notable as the first collaboration between John Barry and director Bryan Forbes (they would subsequently work together in Seance on a Wet Afternoon, King Rat, The Wrong Box, The Whisperers and Deadfall) and producer Richard Attenborough, for whom he would score Chaplin.

The Music

Barry's contribution was two songs for the score.

Release Notes

There was no soundtrack release for this. I could have sworn I saw at least one of the songs show up as a track on a compilation, but I'll damned if I can find it now...
