The oldest Canon camera ad I've seen so far. This was when they were still making Leica-copies (a camera that resembles a Leica, not necessarily an exact duplicate). A lot of japanese camera makers began that way. Canon began as a camera maker who bought optics from Nikon. Nikon was an optical firm who later got into camera making.
