Unknown-make Cottage alarm clock

Unknown-make cottage clockI believe that this was the third of three clocks all acquired at the same time, along with the Seth Thomas Victoria and the New Haven O.G. They were a gift to my father from his parents when he got out of the Air Force.

I don't know what this is: there's no marking on the face and I don't want to pull it off to see if the movement is marked (and very often they are not). I'll wait until I have to. What annoys is that I saw another one very much like it at an antique shop, but can't remember what make theirs was. And it's too far away to drive back to see if they still have it. I want to say it's a Seth Thomas and I've seen several like it, but not close enough to be certain. All the ST cottage styles I've seen have knobs on the front of the door; this has a hook-and-eye latch on the side.

This thing is cute as hell. 30-hour spring-wound, very easy right-hand wind. Time only, which is wound through the keyhole at the 4 o'clock position. The other winds the alarm, which makes me think this is a bedside alarm clock.

Acquired: early 1950s.

Current condition: runs fine.
