For more on Graflex in general and the 4x5 Graphic camers in particular, please see my Speed Graphic page.
This is a Crown Graphic, which is a Speed Graphic without the focal-plane shutter. This made the camera lighter, a little more compact, and less expensive. If the leaf shutter on the lens was adequate for your needs, this was the camera to get.
Mine is an Pacemaker Edition, the last of the three editions for this camera. It was made long after it became obsolete, which explains its very long manufacturing date range (27 years). I don't know approximately when my particular camera was made; some time I'll see if there's a serial number lookup for it.
This one came from a local thrift store. I wasn't going to buy more film cameras, but this was $30 and too good to ignore. I was also afraid someone would buy it and turn it into a lamp.
