The Suprisingly Long-Lived Spot-o-Matic - (1942 and 1962)

I call this getting the most of your investment. The ad on the left is the earliest, from January 1942 (it's written up as a new product in the same magazine). The ad on the right is from 1962. Even though that's a "new" model, you have to wonder how much was actually revised. My guess is not that much.

Seriously, if you saw this thing in 1942, would you have thought it would still be around twenty years later?
