Another wartime ad. Ilex was an American company which made lenses and shutters for the smaller American makers under their own name, and supplied the same for others (like Kodak) anonymously. They went under in the 1960s, defeated by the Germans and the Japanese in the peacetime market.

Baby pictures were common in photo ads, but seem to have gone out of fashion around the 1960s.
