A nifty old 1970s-design. Needs a band that matches it better. The picture exaggerates the scratches on the crystal but it could use a new one. Other than that, it's very pretty and works well. And it's 17 jewels, so nothing to sniff at.

Pencron, I believe, was a JC Penney house brand. My father worked for them in the 1970s, and it would have been reasonable that it was purchased there probably by my mother, who gave it to him as a gift.
