I picked this up because I wanted a sports watch for kayaking. I have a lot of watches that say they're water resistant but frankly I don't believe it; or even if they were when they were new, I doubt they are now. I was tempted to buy a new one and may still do so, but I found this at Goodwill for $8 plus $2.50 more for the 2025 coin battery, and hey hey, it works.

This thing is more complicated than my oscilloscope. Happily I was able to download an owner's manual that's written in clear english, so I've been able to set it without too much trouble. I'm still learning the various functions.
