Waltham Grade 610 pocket watch

Waltham Grade 610 pocket watchMy father was the watch repairman in the family, and I inherited them when he passed. As I'm going through my collection, this is the first Waltham that I've found. I likely have a couple more, but my father loved Elgin the best. Everything else is onesey-twosey.

I'll add more about Waltham as I learn about it. At the moment I only know this watch, a Grade 610 from 1900. Size 16, 7 jewels. Pendant wind, pendant set. The movement is hinged and swings out. The case is by the Crescent Case company, and is made of nickel. Most of my pocket watches have nickel cases.

Acquired: 2019

Circa: 1900

Current condition: ran fine until I broke the stem when I swung the movement out to read the serial number. big sigh
