Elgin National Grade 384 pocket watch

This is my Elgin Grade 384, made in 1918. It is size 12, 17 jewels (which makes it the most jeweled of the Elgin pocket watches I've researched so far), pendant wind and set. Adjusted for temperture.

The case is some kind of gold but I do not know which kind. It says Pendant but I haven't been able to find that among known watch case makers. It says it's guaranteed for 20 years, which is also usually some kind of gold. Open face, but there's a double hinge back. Drop the first back and there's an inscription "from mother." The second back opens to display the movement.

The dial is dark, I expect it needs to be cleaning.
