A French style clock. A thread on NAWCC.org says it's circa 1889. Cute little shelf clock. The label says it's an 8-day, half-hour strike cathedral clock. Besides the face, the other unusual thing about this is the door in the back. Most American clocks I've seen have a hinged door. This has a plate with a screw on one end that acts as a swivel.
Acquired: 2020 from my father.
Current condition: runs fine.
