This is a tambour clock, a very common style for mantle or shelf clocks. I've got a bunch of these things.
This one is a Hamilton, which was more famous as a quality American watchmaker. The movement is marked West Germany. Outside of that, I don't know much about it. Hamilton Chronicles says that in 1970, Hamilton began branding clocks as well as watches. The clock discussed in particular (a carriage clock style) used a Hermle movement, which is German. This one is also probably a Hermle.
Runs but won't go a full week and I don't feel like doing a twice-weekly wind.
Acquired: thrift shop, sometime in the 2000s ($10).
Current condition: doesn't run for a full week; likely needs cleaning and oil.
